  2. Install Microsoft Fonts Linux

I installed MS Office 2007 using PlayOnLinux, and the Arial font is italic, for some reason. Any hint on how to install it correctly?

This two approaches I found in the internet have failed: Download ultraman fighting evolution 3 ps2 iso maker.

Aug 04, 2015  How to add, remove and modify fonts in Windows 10. (See screenshot at top.) When you drop it, you'll see a brief 'installing font' message, and then, presto, you're done. Removing a font is even easier: Click one, then click Delete. Just be careful not to remove any important system fonts like Calibre, Microsoft Sans Serif and Tahoma. Now install gnome tweak tool if haven't installed yet, open it. 1st activate the User Themes extension if it's not activated yet. After activating go to Themes tab from left hand side menu and choose your favorite shell and icon theme. For fonts, go to Fonts tab and select your choice there.

InstallFonts
  • To copy the fonts from my Windows 'Fonts' folder to /usr/share/fonts/truetype/ and execute fc-cache.
  • To delete all 'Arial' in the folders: ~/.PlayOnLinux/fonts and ~/.PlayOnLinux/wineprefix/Office2007/drive_c/windows/Fonts/

--update:

follows the screenshot of my Arial:

PlayOnLinux provides a mechanism to install and modify 'bottles' of wine-software.

One of these is the install Microsoft Fonts to a 'bottle' - the picture below will give an idea of what to do. Note - I dont have MS Office, but the principle still applies.
